Requesting Deletion of Vendor Data

Venue partners may request deletion of their vendor account and associated data. We provide a soft-delete process to allow recovery for a limited time while also honoring legal and business retention needs. Below are the steps and important considerations.

How to request deletion

  1. Contact us at connectxplaysync@gmail.com or submit a support request through your account.
  2. Provide identifying information (account name, email, venue name) so we can verify the request.
  3. We will acknowledge receipt and may request additional information to confirm your authority to request deletion.
  4. Once verified, we will initiate a soft delete of your account and associated data.
  5. If applicable, we will confirm when the soft-delete is complete and explain any retained data (see below).

What is a soft delete?

Soft delete means your account and most associated records are removed from active use and hidden from the Platform, but not permanently erased immediately. This provides a short recovery window to restore data in case of accidental requests. After the soft-delete retention period, data will be permanently deleted or anonymized according to our policies and legal obligations.

Exceptions & retained data

In some cases we may retain certain information even after a deletion request for legitimate business or legal purposes. Examples include:

  • Records required to comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, dispute resolution).
  • Aggregate or anonymized data used for analytics that does not identify you.
  • Data retained in backups for disaster recovery for a limited period.
  • Limited transaction logs necessary to maintain records of past bookings or payments.

We will disclose what categories of data must be retained when we acknowledge your deletion request.

Timeline

After verification, we typically complete the soft-delete within 5 business days. Permanent deletion or anonymization of retained data may take longer depending on backups and legal retention requirements; we'll provide an estimated timeline when we respond to your request.

Questions or disputes

If you have questions about what will be deleted or retained, please reply to our confirmation email or contact support. If we cannot comply with a deletion request due to a legal retention obligation, we will explain the reason and the legal basis.
